Some Downsides of Solar Power System

1. First and foremost, watch out for pitfalls when installing solar power system.  

2. You would change the power consumption pattern, adding to some inconvenience.
Typical inconveniences would include not being able to turn on geysers, not being able to operate motor pumps etc.

3. You would change some appliances that are not energy efficient.
Most modern appliances that are energy star rated are good. Some appliances like Induction cook top, Electric grill are not energy efficient. They consume high power (1 KWH and above) in short time and solar power production cannot match the power consumed.
